As such, during your journey through the game, you are bound to come across multiple NPCs, who will get involved with your journey in some form or another. Therefore, it\u2019s natural for you to hate some of the NPCs and fall in love with others. As such, players discussed some of the minor NPCs that they think are not worth their time. One such user commented, \u201cPerhaps the Duke? He\u2019s unnecessarily cold towards Wyll even though he has risked his life saving him from the Iron Throne. It took the tadpole for the Duke to finally apologize to Wyll. \u201c The Duke received a ton of hate in the comments, with over 1,000 players agreeing with the fan claiming he was \u201ccold\u201d and pretty horrible to Wyll. Others explained: \u201cI understand where you\u2019re coming from about Ravenguard,\u201d while another explained why their hate for the character was so irrational, highlighting how \u201cafter rescuing him he\u2019s supposed to give you the fairytale book about the Wyrm, but he just kept it and I needed to pick pocket it and then pass a persuasion check when he realized it was stolen. I know it\u2019s a bug but still, dude\u201d While the Duke wasn\u2019t the only NPC to get hate, it\u2019s clear many fans feel more protective of Wyll than his father, and hate to see their favorite Warlock being shut down by the very man he was trying to save. It\u2019s safe to claim everyone has someone they dislike in the game, but a few key characters seem to frustrate fans more than others.
