However, just because some of them are rarer than others, doesn’t mean this key resource should be left out. Baldur’s Gate 3 throws a lot at you. Whether it’s getting mauled by a beast, cursed by a witch, or even brutally crushed by a boulder – there are just so many things that can go wrong when exploring every nook and cranny of Faerun. Even when you have the best companions by your side, the game can sometimes get pretty unpredictable. Due to all these challenges, it’s crucial for players to learn to manage their resources. While there is a wide range of resources in the game, one player on Reddit has voiced their opinion regarding a key resource that players shouldn’t forget about. Baldur’s Gate 3 player reminds players about key resource One player on the official Baldur’s Gate 3 subreddit posted a thread reminding players to use their scrolls, poisons, and potions. The reason is that they’ve simply beaten the game with hundreds of them just sitting in their inventory. “This happens every new RPG I start,” they mentioned. “Don’t be that RPG player like me. These things are made to be used. They’re literally useless hoarded.” Since the thread was first posted, it has been flooded with comments by other players who responded to the issue. One of the top responses was, “Every time I’m out of combat, I think about this. Every time I’m in combat, I promptly forget again,” which other players seem to relate to. Another fan suggested their idea when it comes to dealing with this situation. “Nah, the plan is not to sell them, but never use them, hoard hundreds, then realize at the final battle I have them all, and still not use them! I’ve been doing that since the og FFVII lol.” On the contrary, one response claims this is a strategy they use in another game. “In Icewinddale, I hoarded all the good stuff until the very last fight against the big bad. Needless to say, it was rather easy with sh*t tons of scrolls and potions at hand lol,” they explained. For more context, players can collect all kinds of loot throughout their game, but there’s a limitation. Hoarding too many items will give players the encumbered effect, so it’s ideal to sell unnecessary items or use them when the time is right.

Baldur’s Gate 3 players warned not to forget about this key resource Larian StudiosYou’ll find all sorts of resources you can use in Baldur’s Gate 3.
