Former professional mixed martial artist turned commentator Michael Bisping has once more got a bone to pick with Jake Paul, following the latter\u2019s win against Mike Perry. This time, Bisping has agreed with some of the criticisms made by Conor McGregor, who took note of Paul\u2019s \u201c40-pound weight difference\u201d and accused the influencer of being \u201cjuiced out of his head\u201d. Reacting to the fight on YouTube, Bisping shared a similar sentiment and dubbed Paul an \u201cembarrassment\u201d to boxing. Bisping admitted that he was \u201cbehind\u201d Perry coming into the fight, but determined that the \u201creality\u201d was that the seasoned UFC fighter was \u201ctoo small\u201d. \u201cThere [are] weight classes in boxing, in combat sports, for a reason,\u201d Bisping said, pointing to the \u201cdiscrepancy\u201d in size becoming glaringly obvious once both men were in the ring. While Bisping admitted Paul was the \u201cbetter boxer\u201d for being \u201cmore aggressive\u201d and throwing \u201cway more powerful shots\u201d, he also stated that the fight was \u201cridiculous\u201d and should have \u201cnever even taken place\u201d. Bisping went on to say that other boxers watching the fight would even be \u201claughing\u201d, claiming \u201csomebody the same size\u201d as Paul would have \u201chad a field day with him.\u201d \u201cHe was all over the place,\u201d the commentator said. \u201cHis feet were crossing all over the place, he was swinging, it was wild, it was reckless. It wasn\u2019t a technical performance.\u201d He then slammed Paul for calling out UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira despite allegedly knowing \u201cdamn well\u201d that the fight would \u201cnever materialize\u201d. Bisping also roasted Paul for claiming to \u201cwant the toughest challenges\u201d but focusing on fights such as his upcoming match with Mike Tyson: \u201cThe man\u2019s 58 years old. \u201cWhy don\u2019t you fight a real boxer?\u201d Bisping quizzed, suggesting multiple boxers in the top 10 rankings who he insisted would \u201csmoke\u201d Paul with a \u201cdevastating knockout\u201d. \u201cThat\u2019s why I still don\u2019t have respect because that was pure bully-boy tactics to cherry-pick someone half his bloody size\u2026 it\u2019s not often I agree with Conor McGregor but I tell you what, he hit the absolute nail on the head.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
