The first press conference took place in New York on Tuesday, when Haney claimed he could smell alcohol on Garcia\u2019s breath during the face-off, calling him an \u201calcoholic\u201d and a \u201cdrunk\u201d. Second press conference due to take place in LA The pair are scheduled to meet again in LA on Thursday but Haney said on social media that he won\u2019t be there after Garcia joined a Space on X and claimed to be \u201chigh as f***\u201d. Garcia was asked by the Space host: \u201cHow do you feel about them trying to spin a narrative that you\u2019re an alcoholic?\u201d And he responded by saying: \u201cI know so many stories of top athletes in the world that do crazier sh*t than me and be the best in the world. I\u2019m not a dry snitch, so I won\u2019t say anything. At the end of the day\u2026 I box, smoke weed, drink\u2026 and I\u2019m the best.\u201d A clearly unimpressed Haney wrote: \u201cI\u2019m not going to that press conference tomorrow. This dude Ryan wasting mine and everyone\u2019s time.\u201d The press conference is due to start at 9pm GMT (1pm PT\/4pm ET) and that\u2019s when we\u2019ll find out of Haney is true to his word. During the New York conference, both men delivered confident statements about their chances on fight night. Garcia, whose only career loss came against Gervonta Davis last year, said: \u201cThis is a big opportunity for me. I want to go for legacy and belts, Devin is in the way and I\u2019m on my vengeance arc. I\u2019m coming straight for his neck I promise you that.\u201d Haney, meanwhile, said: \u201cThis is going to be a hell of an event. We\u2019ve seen Ryan quit before and take a knee before.
