Here’s the best loadout to dominate multiplayer using the meta LMG. While once a forgettable LMG that very few people used, the buffs in MW3 Season 3 Reloaded have elevated the DG-58 LSW making it undoubtedly meta. It is now far more accurate and hits harder offering one of the best TTKs in Modern Warfare 3. This unbelievable glow-up has seen the DG-58 LSW feature in more and more players’ classes. If you want to take advantage of this buffed gun like they are you’ll need the best loadout possible. Here is the best DG-58 loadout to use in Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer that looks to make it as accurate as possible while also optimizing handling and mobility. Contents Best DG-58 LSW MW3 loadout – Best DG-58 LSW class: Perks and equipment – How to unlock DG-58 LSW in Modern Warfare 3 – Best DG-58 LSW alternative in Modern Warfare 3 – Best DG-58 LSW MW3 loadout Muzzle: Zehmn35 Compensated Flash Hider – Optic: JAK Glassless Optic – Stock: Recoil Reduction Buttplate – Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop – Comb: FSS Last Stand Comb – After its recoil control buff in Season 3 Reloaded it is now possible to make the DG-58 LSW incredibly accurate. This can be done by stacking attachments that reduce recoil, most notably the Zahmn35 Compensated Flash Hider and Recoil Reduction Buttplate. Another big advantage of this buff is that it frees up other attachments to be used to improve the LMG’s relatively slow handling. To speed up how fast it handles you should use both the DR-6 Handstop and FSS Last Stand Comb. The main benefit of these two attachments is that they provide a 16% improvement to ADS speed and a huge 25% boost to Sprint to Fire Speed. With these two attachments equipped the DG-58 LSW has handling and mobility closer to an assault rifle than an LMG. This is a massive upside that makes it possible to play far more aggressively with this build than with other LMG classes. Round off the loadout by equipping a suitable medium-range sight like the JAK Glassless Optic. Although several optics are viable on the DG-58 LSW, the JAK Glassless Optic stands out as the best overall option thanks to its clear reticle and ease of use. Best DG-58 LSW class: Perks & equipment Vest: Gunner Vest Deploy with max ammo and improved reload speed. – – Gloves: Assault Gloves While jumping, accuracy and time to ADS is improved. – – Gear: EOD Padding Reduces damage from non-killstreak enemy explosives and enemy fire. – – Lethal: Proximity Mine Proximity-triggered explosive that launches in the air, and deals heavy damage to the surrounding area. – – Tactical: Stim Military stimulant that promotes clotting to close wounds quickly and refreshes Tactical Sprint. – – Field Upgrade: Trophy System – With the Gunner Vest, you spawn in with max ammo as well as a second primary weapon slot. We advise using this on something that can do serious damage at close range like the HRM-9 or RAM-9. Close-range guns like these help cover up the DG-58 LSW’s shortcomings with the LMG being more suited to medium and long-range encounters. The Assault Gloves don’t necessarily compliment the DG-58 LSW all that well, but they do provide a more mobile option for when going on the offensive is required. These gloves reduce various penalties on jump shots letting you catch enemies off guard much easier. They were also buffed in Season 3 Reloaded to improve hipfire spread while moving by 15% making them the clear best all-around option. It is no secret that grenades reign supreme in Modern Warfare 3 so consider using EOD Padding to reduce all non-killstreak explosive damage. This is especially important on small maps where grenade spam is extremely common like Das Haus and Shipment. Since you are most likely going to be playing slower than if you were using an AR or SMG, it’s important to cover your flanks. There is no better tool for this than the Proximity Mine, which will detonate when enemies run over it. Finally, a Stim is fantastic for healing up quickly and surviving situations where you would otherwise not have a chance. How to unlock DG-58 LSW in Modern Warfare 3 The DG-58 LSW is easy to unlock in MW3 as all you have to do is reach Level 7, This means you can unlock it in just a few matches but keep in mind there are an additional 29 gun levels which are required to use all of the DG-58 LSW’s unique attachments. Best DG-58 LSW alternative in Modern Warfare 3 Though another LMG can also work, the closest competitor to the DG-58 LSW is actually a hyper-accurate assault rifle like the MCW. Both of these weapons remain effective at extreme ranges making them perfect for big maps and large-scale game modes like Ground War.
