With the right attachments, the high-recoil, high-damage Assault Rifle can be turned into a bit of a juggernaut across Warzone Pacific and Modern Warfare. While the Warzone meta changes with every season, the Oden has always remained toward the bottom of people’s rankings. This high-power Assault Rifle may be able to dish out some dizzying damage numbers, but its slow rate of fire and nightmarish recoil make it a risk in most firefights. As a result, many Call of Duty players simply avoid using this weapon altogether – instead opting for more reliable guns like the MP40, Owen Gun, and Cooper Carbine. Still, if you want something a little more hard-hitting in CoD Warzone, then the Oden might be worth a look as your primary AR. But, no matter what playlist you choose, the Colossus Suppressor and Oden Factory 810mm are absolute necessities as they each help turn this thing into a beast at longer ranges with bonuses to recoil, damage range, and bullet velocity. Interestingly, the VLK 3.0x Optic not only gives you a better zoom from range but also gives you some advantages to recoil control — making it a perfect complement to the Muzzle and Barrel. As you may have guessed, the Commando Foregrip follows suit, with maximum recoil control to help the gun feel steadier from distance. Finally, you can run the 25-Round Mags or 30-Round Mags to help handle multiple enemies at once. The Oden has a slower rate of fire, but a lot of damage per bullet, so it doesn’t take too much ammunition to get a knock—especially if you’re hitting the head or upper torso. Go ahead and pair it with a nasty SMG like the MAC-10 to eat enemies up at close ranges. Best Oden Warzone Class: Perks & Equipment Perk 1: E.O.D – Perk 2: Ghost – Perk 3: Combat Scout – Lethal: Thermite – Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor – As a dominant AR, we’ll be getting into plenty of firefights with the Oden, so you’ll need E.O.D to withstand the blasts of any thrown equipment. We’re also confident we can manage with the Oden until we find another loadout or a decent other weapon find, so Ghost will work for now. With this in mind, we’re gonna suggest running Combat Scout because lots of people still don’t run Cold-Blooded to counteract it. For your Lethals and Tacticals, we recommend Thermite and the Heartbeat Sensor. The former is great for drawing enemies out, whereas the Heartbeat Sensor is the perfect tool to detect nearby hostile forces. How to unlock the Oden in Warzone If you’re keen to have a crack with the Oden, then you’re going to need to reach Level 28 in Warzone Pacific or even Modern Warfare. Doing so can easily be achieved in Warzone if you have a decent session in which you focus on Rebirth or one of the other respawn-enabled LTMs such as Plunder. Alternative to the Oden in Warzone loadout The Oden can indeed be an oddity and to everyone’s tastes, if this is the case, then we’d 100% recommend trying out some of CoD’s other bad boys such as the AK-47 or STG44. Both guns are viable Assault Rifles, especially the recently buffed STG, and can be deadly weapons in Caldera.
