Here is the loadout you should be using to get the most out of the SOA Subverter in MW3. The Season 2 Reloaded update added the SOA Subverter, a new battle rifle that is easily amongst multiplayer’s best weapons. This weapon is based on the real-world ARX-200, a more powerful version of the ARX-160 that last appeared way back in Infinite Warfare as the OSA. Unlike the other ARX weapons from older Call of Duty games, the SOA Subverter is a full-auto rifle that chambers a devastating 7.62 round capable of downing enemy players before they can react. To take advantage of the SOA Subverter’s high damage you’ll need a meta loadout and we’ve got you covered. Contents: Best SOA Subverter loadout – SOA Subverter loadout: Perks and equipment – How to unlock SOA Subverter in MW3 – Best alternative to SOA Subverter in MW3 – Best SOA Subverter MW3 loadout Muzzle: Casus Brake L – Optic: Quarters Classic Reflex – Stock: HRT-L0 Precision Stock – Underbarrel: XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop – Magazine: 7.62×51 30 Round Mag – Due to the SOA Subverter’s relatively slow fire rate, you mustn’t miss shots as this greatly impacts its damage potential. To make the battle rifle more accurate use the Casus Brake L muzzle with the HRT-L0 Precision Stock as these greatly improve recoil, idle sway, and firing aim stability. It’s also ideal to use the 7.62×51 30 Round Mag as the stock SOA Subverter only comes with 20 rounds. This means that you have to frequently reload leaving you vulnerable. The 30 Round Mag increases the rifle’s magazine overall capacity by 50% fixing this problem. A downside to using these attachments is that they slow down the SOA Subverter and can leave it feeling a little sluggish for MW3 multiplayer’s fast-paced gameplay. Therefore you should equip the XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop underbarrel to regain some handling speed while further improving recoil. Since the SOA Subverter is a precision weapon it’s highly recommended to use a suitable medium range optic. There are plenty of good choices but we like the new Quarters Classic Reflex that lets you reexperience the original Red Dot Sight from Call of Duty 4. SOA Subverter MW3 loadout: Perks & Equipment Vest: Infantry Vest – Gloves: Ordnance Gloves – Boots: Climbing Boots – Gear: Mission Control Comlink – Field Upgrade: A.C.S. – Lethal: Frag Grenade – Tactical: Stun Grenade – For Vest, you’ll want to keep things simple and use the Infantry Vest which provides the benefits of Running Sneakers without using up the Boots slot. With this slot freed up, equip the Climbing Boots which make mantling and climbing faster helping you traverse maps more quickly. In the Gear slot, you can’t go wrong with the Mission Control Comlink which reduces the cost of calling in both Killstreaks and Scorestreaks. Equally, Ordnance Gloves are a nice option that lets you throw equipment further and punish players who mistakenly think they are in a safe position. The A.C.S. is an underrated Field Upgrade that can capture objectives while you stand at a safe distance. This is great to use with the SOA Subverter as the MW3 battle rifle offers fantastic damage range and can pick off enemies lured in by the A.C.S. with ease. To round off the loadout you’ll should use both a Frag Grenade and a Stun Grenade. This classic combination provides both unmatched lethality and useful utility to get the upper hand in a tight match. How to unlock the SOA Subverter in Modern Warfare 3 The SOA Subverter is unlocked in MW3 by completing any 5 challenges from the Week 5 Weekly Challenges in either multiplayer, zombies, or battle royale. Once Season 2 Reloaded ends, it will be available as an Armory unlock instead. Best alternative to SOA Subverter in Modern Warfare 3 Even after its nerf in Season 2 Reloaded, the BAS-B remains a powerful weapon and shares a lot in common with the SOA Subverter. Both are great battle rifles that have a slower fire rate but deal a lot of damage as long as you can keep them on target.
