The power of snipers is unmatched for long-range engagements, providing critical support by pressuring and eliminating enemy teams from afar, often without them even having the chance to fight back. To keep snipers in check, developer Raven Software has implemented various buffs and nerfs throughout Warzone’s history, with Season 5 Reloaded being no exception. This latest update saw the JAK Cataclysm conversion kit heavily nerfed, bringing the powerful RPK variant back in line with other options. With these constant changes, it’s important to stay informed and make sure your sniper loadouts are optimized. Even a seemingly minor change can make all the difference, and the last thing anyone wants is to lose a gunfight because they chose a weapon that isn’t competitive anymore. Best Sniper Rifle loadouts These are the five best sniper rifles to use in Season 5 Reloaded, all of which can down enemies in one headshot: 1. Kar98k Best Kar98k Warzone Loadout Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor L – Barrel: Prazisionsgewehr 762 Long Barrel – Optic: Range Caller v3.4 Optic – Ammunition: 7.92x57mm High Grain Rounds – Slings: Recon Sling – The Kar98k remains a top-tier option in Warzone, and it doesn’t take a genius to figure out why. It can down in one shot up to 76 meters, which is extraordinary considering how fast its handling is compared to other snipers. This weapon is especially strong in Resurgence, where it is one of the best weapons in the game. 2. KATT-AMR Best KATT-AMR Warzone Loadout Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor XL – Barrel: Zang-34 Barrel – Laser: SL Razorhawk Laser Light – Ammunition: .50 Cal High Velocity – Bolt: Ephemeral Quickbolt – In contrast to other meta snipers, the KATT-AMR is slow and heavy. However, it is still an incredible option, as it can down in one shot at any range. Even better, it doesn’t require a special ammo type to do so, leaving you free to use attachments to optimize other key stats. If you want to be a true marksman and get kills from hundreds of meters away, this is the best sniper to use. 3. MORS Best MORS Warzone Loadout Barrel: Tonne Heavy Barrel – Stock: Superlite-90 Stock – Ammunition: HVP Anti-Material Slug – Rear Grip: OP-980 Grip – Bolt: Quickbolt – The MORS is still a great sniper, with its impressive range and damage helping it stand out. Even after countless nerfs to key stats like ADS speed and bullet velocity, it remains a top-tier option. With the HVP Anti-Material Slug equipped, it can one shot at any range, making it a direct competitor to the KATT-AMR. Which is better is largely a matter of preference, so be sure to try them both. 4. XRK Stalker Best XRK Stalker Warzone Loadout Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor XL – Barrel: Fission 60 Barrel – Laser: SL Razorhawk Laser Light – Ammunition: .50 Cal High Grain Rounds – Bolt: XRK Stalker Light Bolt – The XRK Stalker used to be the best sniper rifle in Resurgence, thanks to its fast mobility and handling. However, the Kar98k has since dethroned it, leaving this weapon out of favor. Even so, the XRK Stalker is still competitive, as sniping as a whole is so strong. Just don’t be surprised when someone else outguns you using its successor. 5. MCPR-300 Best MCPR-300 Warzone Loadout Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor L – Barrel: 22″ OMX-456 – Laser: SL Razorhawk Laser Light – Ammunition: .300 Mag Explosive – Magazine: 5 Round Magazine – The addition of newer MW3 snipers has left the MCPR-300 in a difficult position. It’s hard to justify using these days, but it is still the best MW2 sniper rifle, with the MCPR-300 holding its own as long as you’ve got the skill required. It’s not meta in Season 5 Reloaded, but if you want some variety, this rendition of the Barrett .50 cal still hits hard and has good handling and mobility. All Warzone Sniper Rifles ranked There are 14 sniper rifles in Season 5 Reloaded, with the latest addition being the JAK Cataclysm conversion kit for the RPK. Additionally, balance changes in this update have affected the meta, switching up the rankings. Here’s how all of Warzone’s sniper rifles rank from strongest to weakest, assuming you are using the best loadout possible for each weapon: Kar98k – KATT-AMR – MORS – XRK Stalker – MCPR-300 – FJX Imperium – JAK Cataclysm – Victus XMR – KV Inhibitor – Signal 50 – Carrack .300 – Longbow – SP-X 80 – LA-B 330 – For more meta Warzone weapons, check out the best Assault Rifles, SMGs, and which guns are the most popular right now.
