Another week, another update released for Black Ops 4, and the latest one put out on July 30 includes changes, new content, and announcements for Multiplayer, Zombies, and Blackout battle royale. Below, you can find everything there is to know about the update, the full list what\u2019s to come in the near future, and the patch notes. Ground War and Prop Hunt return This update has reintroduced Prop Hunt and Ground War into Multiplayer and Blackout respectively. Ground War is making its first appearance in the battle royale ever since the main map was change to a post-apocalyptic theme. Both modes are available for a limited time only, and all indications are that they could be taken out of the rotation after this week. New content and modes coming soon While the update did not do much in the way of adding any major new content or modes, Treyarch did use the occasion to announce that there is a lot to look forward to in Black Ops 4. Coming on August 6 will be the next phase in currently ongoing Operation: Apocalypse Z, including a new mode called Pandemic, the return of Infection but with a twist, updates to Blackout, a new competitive Gauntlet in \u2018Alpha Omega\u2019 called \u2018Duck and Cover,\u2019 and more. Keep in mind that this new content will only be available on the PlayStation 4 at launch, as Xbox One and PC players will have to wait seven days before its made available on their platforms. Here are the full patch notes for the July 30 update, as provided by Treyarch on Reddit: July 30 Update: New Content Dropping August 6th on PS4 \/ Prop Hunt and Ground War Return \/ Upcoming Improvements &#038; Fixes New Content Incoming Next Week on PS4 The next phase of Operation Apocalypse Z kicks off August 6th on PS4, delivering even more new content to all modes in Black Ops 4. Here\u2019s a preview of what\u2019s to come: Pandemic \u2013 Imagine an 80-player game of Infected on the biggest Call of Duty map ever made. We\u2019re cranking that idea to 11 and making it a reality in Blackout, where the rules have changed from \u201clast squad standing\u201d to \u201clast survivors on Earth against an endless swarm of undead at the end of the world\u201d. Get ready to run. &#8211; Infected: Final Stand \u2013 The fan-favorite party game rises again in Multiplayer with new game-changing twists to keep both teams fighting for survival until the very end. &#8211; Blackout Updates \u2013 We\u2019re adding the new sidecar-equipped Motorcycle to Blackout, along with more Zombies-inspired Easter eggs, Wonder Weapons, wall buys, and enemy types. &#8211; \u201cAlpha Omega\u201d Gauntlet \u2013 Take on 30 new rounds of challenges at Camp Edward in our latest competitive Gauntlet for Zombies fans, \u201cDuck and Cover\u201d. &#8211; More Contract Rewards \u2013 We\u2019re increasing the potential Contract reward rate in every mode by guaranteeing at least one Normal Contract with a Reserve Case reward each day. &#8211; New Black Market Content \u2013 New Contraband rewards are coming, including an Ultra Weapon Bribe, new Epic Outfits, Gestures, Reactive Camo, Jump Pack, Calling Cards, and more. &#8211; Look for all the details in next week\u2019s patch notes, plus some sneak peeks coming soon\u2026 Prop Hunt and Ground War Are Back! Today\u2019s Featured Playlist update brings Prop Hunt back to MP, and Ground War comes to Blackout\u2019s post-apocalyptic main map for the first time. Both are limited time modes, so you\u2019ll want to jump in now while they\u2019re featured this week. Barebones Moshpit also comes to MP on PS4 and Xbox One, combining Barebones Deathmatch Moshpit with Barebones Objective Moshpit for a more diverse back-to-basics experience. Known Issues and Incoming Improvements This update fixes a recent issue in Zombies where players were unable to pick up the Shield piece that could appear on the bookshelf in the Library in \u201cDead of the Night\u201d \u2013 thanks to the community for the reports. We\u2019re also tracking several issues and improvements for the future, including (not limited to): Previously saved Paintjobs currently appearing hidden &#8211; Daemon 3XB Mastercraft not leveling up properly if the base version isn\u2019t owned &#8211; Improved pathing for the K9-Unit to prevent Juneau from jumping up onto the tower in Summit &#8211; Damage tuning for the Reaver C86, Argus, and Locus in Zombies &#8211; Crashes that can occur when Pack-a-Punching the Ballistic Knife in Zombies &#8211; Various fixes and improvements for \u201cAlpha Omega\u201d in Zombies &#8211; Please continue to report any bugs you encounter with as much information included as possible (platform you\u2019re playing on, map\/weapon\/attachment being used, etc.) and we\u2019ll bring them to the team\u2019s attention for investigation.
