Black Ops 4: Treyarch details major Blackout changes on the way in December 10 update New details have been unveiled for the upcoming content drop starting December 10 and it\u2019s gearing up to be a big one for Blackout players. All week, Treyarch has been teasing the upcoming Black Ops 4 update that was set to bring some big changes to all three modes in the game. While the addition of Hijacked was first teased on December 4, it looks like that was only the tip of the iceberg in terms of what\u2019s set to come with the update. Even before Hijacked is added on December 11, Treyarch will be adding a long list of things to the mode, including a \u201cnew Armor repair system, audio improvements, SDM and Spitfire weapon balancing, and season changes across the entire map.\u201d The minute players load up after the update, they\u2019ll be met with updated visuals that feature changes to the foliage and \u201csofter winter lighting.\u201d There will be even more environmental updates coming to Nuketown Island, Hydro Dam, and Factory, as well. That\u2019s not all, however, as a new ARAV armored vehicle and even more Specialist and Zombies Character Missions are on the way to give players even more to sink their teeth into on December 11. Treyarch ends by giving an idea of what\u2019s left to come in the future beyond the December 10 and 11 content drops, promising custom games, weapon camos, Stash interface updates on consoles and holiday festivities. On December 10, we\u2019re setting the stage with several hotly-anticipated updates to the core Blackout experience for all platforms, including our new Armor repair system, audio improvements, SDM and Spitfire weapon balancing, and seasonal changes across the entire map. Players will immediately notice the map\u2019s new visual updates as soon as they jump out of the helicopter, from seasonal changes in foliage and softer winter lighting, to new smoke trails to better indicate where everyone is dropping. Once you make it to dry land, hop into the new ARAV armored vehicle with a friend and light up your foes with its turret-mounted machine gun. Players can also drop in as Zero after unlocking her, or as one of the four zombie-killing gladiators from IX after finding and completing the brand-new set of Blackout Zombies Character Missions. We\u2019re also amping up our collection of personalization items that can be used in Blackout in the new and improved Black Market, including new unlockable Blackout characters, new Epic Specialist Outfits, shared Warpaints, and more personalization items to use in the world of Blackout. Players will also find new weapons throughout Blackout starting December 11 on PS4 \u2013 try dropping into Firing Range next week to get your hands on the new hardware before anyone else does.
