The CWL Finals event in Miami will feature two major and high-prized tournaments – the $1.25 million Playoffs for the CWL Pro League, and a $150,000 amateur open bracket that will award 16 teams a spot in this year’s Champs. With many pro players finding themselves off Pro League teams for one reason or another, many have chosen to team up for the open bracket competition, seeing as how they won’t be able to compete in the Playoffs. Two such pros include Seany and Bance, who have decided to team together for the open bracket, where they’ll hope to earn a spot in the biggest tournament of the year next month. Their squad features three amateur players, two of whom currently play for Fierce Esports and one for Alliance. We will be looking for a organisation to represent, we will have 2/3rd seed. If you want to get in touch DMs are open & E-Mail is in my bio (i will still be under Reciprocity). — Sean (@SeanyCod) July 7, 2019 Both Seany and Bance started the Black Ops 4 CWL season on Team Reciprocity and Red Reserve respectively, two teams that eventually qualified for the CWL Pro League. Seany was dropped from Rec’s starting lineup in June, in favor of newcomer Alex ‘Alexx’ Carpenter, taking up the substitute’s role that had previously been occupied by Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren, who himself also has built a team for Finals. Read More: Stacked Play-In bracket announced for Pro League Playoffs at CWL Finals – ft LG, Envy, and more – As for Bance, after Red Reserve shut down their CoD esports operations, he ended up on Denial Esports, who themselves imploded shortly thereafter, forcing the team to use the impromptu name Units. His last action with Units was at CWL Anaheim, where they finished 9-12, after which he was completely dropped from the team and did not get picked up by any Pro League teams during the third and final roster change window. From these five players, only Seany technically has a chance of qualifying for Champs if the team fails to place in the top-16 at the CWL Finals open bracket tournament. Seeing as how he’s still Team Reciprocity’s substitute, he could still be rotated back into the starting lineup ahead of next month’s season finale, although that seems like a long-shot proposition at best. When is CWL Finals? CWL Finals will take place July 19-21 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami, Florida. The proceedings will start with the Play-In tournament for the Playoffs on the 19th, followed by the Playoffs itself and open bracket tournament over the weekend.

Call of Duty pros Bance and Seany announce new team for CWL Finals and Champs MLGA new Call of Duty team has been put together for the upcoming CWL Finals and Champs, featuring two longtime pro players Sean ‘Seany’ O’Connor and Ben ‘Bance’ Bance.
