Even after numerous ban waves and improvements made to the Ricochet anti-cheat system, the problem never dies down and, in 2024, many players have argued it\u2019s getting even worse again. With that said, there are some creators who love to \u201cbait\u201d their viewers by pretending to be hacking, with Symfuhny the prime example of someone who claims to be doing this, garnering a huge number of hacking accusations in the process. This is exactly what streamer Bams claimed he was doing while playing some public match Modern Warfare 3, and his teammates were quick to take the bait and accuse him of cheating. Bams gets MW3 ban for \u201ccheating\u201d While playing on Shoot House, Bams started randomly snapping into different directions and \u2018tracking\u2019 opponents through walls, and his teammates quickly called him a cheater, even though he was simply snapping into the sky or locations where enemies just won\u2019t be. While he and his teammates found it all funny during the game, they turned on him after securing the win, telling everybody in the lobby to report Bams, who pleaded with them not to. After the fact, he was disconnected from the Call of Duty servers and, upon checking, discovered that he had had his matchmaking limited \u2014 essentially meaning he was shadowbanned in-game.
