A veteran CoD player, Censor first competed in the original Black Ops title back in 2011, before retiring from competing in 2016. After missing the Infinite Warfare season, he made his comeback for the return to boots on the ground with CoD: WWII in 2017, but struggled to break into the top eight teams, finishing top 16 at 5 out of 6 major events he attended. Originally planning to join the Evil Geniuses roster for Black Ops 4, it is rumored Censor lost his spot to former eUnited player Tyler ‘FeLo’ Johnson, leaving no viable options for him and forcing retirement once again. But, it appears Censor’s itch for competing has returned, and following FaZe Clan’s top 16 showing at the first event of the Black Ops 4 season, he wants in. First hinting at a return on Twitter, Censor said “I’ve been watching teams practice and go to these events and all I can say is man… a LOT of teams really need my help.” In a YouTube video posted only hours later, Censor stated his ambition to take a spot on the FaZe roster specifically. “I want to be back on the FaZe pro team,” he states, explaining that their poor placing has caused rumors to circle of a change, “all I know is there’s a chance they might make a roster change.” “I want back in man […] to me, I always wanted to be a competitive Call of Duty player, it’s what I love to do, I want to do this until it’s not a thing anymore. And Call of Duty grows every year, salary increases every single year, viewership increases every single year.” However, Censor also makes clear that we won’t come back unless he is happy with his teammates and the level he would be playing at. “I’m not going to come back to competitive Call of Duty if I’m playing with players I don’t like, I’m not going to play with players that are going to stress me out, it’s not worth my time.” Unfortunately for Censor, it seems all but confirmed that FaZe will be recruiting upcoming player ‘Cellium’ in place of Anthony ‘Methodz’ Zinni, so his chances of taking the fifth spot may not even be a possibility.

Censor reveals plans to return to a top level professional Call of Duty team Former professional Call of Duty player Doug ‘Censor’ Martin has revealed that he wants to make a comeback to competitive CoD, stating his desire to play for FaZe Clan’s pro roster.
