The CoDBurner has returned to the spotlight with some more explosive behind-the-scenes news on May 14, and while not everything they’ve said has come to fruition, they’ve foretold enough truths to keep some credibility within the competitive CoD community. Their latest leak was regarding OpTic Gaming, whose fate has been in limbo ever since parent company Infinite Esports and Entertainment were put up for sale several months ago. According to the new intel, the sale of OpTic will be finalized soon, and the news should be announced sometimes during this weekend. The content creators will reportedly be either released or kept on with paycuts. As for their pro CoD team, the players will be sold to a different organization prior to CWL Anaheim in June, which is the next major tournament of the Black Ops 4 CWL season. Dragonburner and CoDBurner are both definitely spreading wrongful information. He went on to firmly state that, all of the main esports teams currently under OpTic will continue to represent the Green Wall until further notice. “And for what it’s worth, unless I’m being completely blindsided, both CS:GO will continue playing, CoD will continue playing, LCS will continue playing, all as OpTic.” ESPN reporting that they had set a $150 million asking price for all of their business, which includes OpTic Gaming and the Houston Outlaws Overwatch League team.In early May, it became apparent that prominent esports org Immortals had raised an additional $30 million in a Series B funding round, emerging as one of the favorites to purchase Infinite and OpTic. If the sale ends up going through, there is a chance that the OpTic brand will cease to exist, as Immortals will either choose to keep and rebrand some of the teams while selling the rest off to different organizations.

CoDBurner leaks daunting intel on future of OpTic Gaming’s CoD team MLGThe mysterious Call of Duty insider known as ‘CoDBurner‘ has leaked some fresh information about the future of OpTic Gaming‘s pro team amid reports that the organization may soon be purchased by Immortals.
