Crimsix frustrated with OpTic\u2019s \u201cbrain dead\u201d performance vs FaZe \u2013 despite winning Despite a 3-2 victory over rivals FaZe Clan, OpTic Gaming veteran Ian \u2018Crimsix\u2018 Porter was seriously not impressed with his team\u2019s performance in the Pro League match, saying he and his teammates played like \u201cbrain dead shit stains.\u201d OpTic\u2018s Search and Destroy performance carried them to victory in the series, but their hardpoint and control gameplay was questionable, especially as they allowed FaZe to claw back a 100 point deficit on the first map. They went on to win 6-0 in the second map, Search and Destroy, but a 3-1 defeat in control saw them behind in the series once again. A much more comfortable second hardpoint win took it to a final map, and although it was a closer 6-4, OpTic\u2019s SnD prowess saw them through. FaZe Clan\u2018s roster has only been together for around a month, giving them much less time to practice compared to OpTic\u2019s squad, which has been competing as a five since the launch of Black Ops 4. OpTic\u2019s 3rd place finish at CWL London compared to FaZe Clan\u2019s 7-8th (although their elimination at the hands of LG came in controversial circumstances) indicated there was a much larger gulf in quality, but this wasn\u2019t apparent in their Pro League match. Immediately after the series, Crimsix explained his frustrations on Twitter, criticizing the team\u2019s performance and confirming they would be scrimming right away.
