OpTic Gaming and Luminosity are two of the biggest teams in Call of Duty esports, and they are set to play on May 23, in what will be the final match within Division A at the CWL Pro League. While the match may have been expected to be a highly-anticipated affair when it was first scheduled weeks ago, it\u2019ll now be likely nothing more than just another formality for OpTic, seeing as how LG currently sit in the bottom of the division. Asked about that upcoming match following OpTic\u2019s win against Midnight Esports, Crimsix could do nothing but cringe and look around sheepishly, knowing that there were still some LG players within earshot. \u201cI don\u2019t know,\u201d he said. \u201cI think LG\u2019s kind of checked out.\u201d Luckily for him, LG\u2019s Josiah \u2018Slacked\u2019 Berry, was watching the interview and helped Crim by predicting that the series would last only 20 minutes, insinuating that one of the two teams would dominate in 3-0 fashion. Considering how far apart the teams are currently in the standings, there\u2019s little to no doubt which of the two is more likely to pull off such a quick sweep. At least Slacked seemed to still be in good spirits, despite his team\u2019s recent struggles, as he and Crim made plans to go to golfing while the interview was still going on. OpTic and LG going in opposite directions It would be harder to find two teams on more opposite runs of form that OpTic and LG, who find themselves on opposite ends in the CWL Pro League standings. OpTic\u2019s 3-0 win against Midnight on May 22 was their sixth in a row, opening up a two game lead atop Division A. LG, meanwhile, lost their sixth consecutive match on May 22, a 3-1 defeat to second-place Gen.G.
