Crimsix reveals how he was \u201cforced out\u201d of OpTic by ex-teammates MLGTwo-time Call of Duty world champion Ian \u2018Crimsix\u2019 Porter has claimed that he was \u201cforced\u201d out of OpTic Gaming, after three people \u2018colluded\u2019 against him, forcing an ultimatum for Seth \u2018Scump\u2019 Abner and Hector \u2018H3CZ\u2019 Rodriguez. Crimsix announced his free agency on September 9, taking many by surprise, and later claimed that the decision was not made by new OpTic ownership group Immortals. This hinted that his teammates had, in fact, dropped the 32-time LAN championship winner, and he has now revealed the true extent of the situation. In a revealing post on September 11, Crimsix claims that \u201c3 people colluded against me towards 2 of my best friends that I\u2019ve known for over a 3rd of my life.\u201d He confirms that he was \u201cessentially forced out by other people other than Scump\/Hector.\u201d Continuing, Crimsix explains that the entire situation apparently unfolded in a single night: \u201cThis all happened at midnight, and there was an important franchise meeting the next day. I had a couple of \u201clate night hours\u201d to throw together players, salaries, to tell the players, perks, etc. I don\u2019t know if the timing was a coincidence or planned, but this was pretty much impossible.\u201d Crimsix\u2019 main frustration seemed to stem from the position which he claims Scump and Hector were left in, saying that they were not \u201cleft with a reasonable choice\u201d. Former teammate Matthew \u2018FormaL\u2019 Piper earlier responded to Crimsix after he apparently leaked the new roster, which will reportedly feature Scump, Brandon \u2018Dashy\u2019 Otell, Thomas \u2018TJHaLy\u2019 Haly and FormaL. It\u2019s possible that the three people Crimsix is speaking about \u201ccolluding\u201d against him are in fact Dashy, TJHaLy and FormaL \u2013 all ex-teammates of his. FormaL himself suggested that the leaked roster revealed by Crimsix was \u2018fake news\u2019, but it\u2019s possible he did so to keep things under wraps. Fellow OpTic player Damon \u2018Karma\u2019 Barlow also posted on social media that he was open to offers for the new franchised league starting in 2020. In a livestream, Karma expressed frustration that he was being \u201cleft in the dark\u201d over the roster situation, and simply wanted answers as to what was being planned. OpTic\u2019s Black Ops 4 season began strongly with a win at CWL Las Vegas, but their momentum slipped and they failed to maintain their high standards throughout the rest of the year. A third-place finish at CWL Champs in August appears to have been the final nail in the coffin for the roster, with the young stars Dashy and TJHaLy seemingly wanting to surround themselves with new faces. Scump publicly indicated his desire to play with FormaL again, naming him first on his \u2018dream team\u2019 list for the Assault Rifle role. Notably, neither Crimsix nor Karma were named on his list. The franchise season will begin in January 2020, so it may be some time before rosters are officially confirmed and announced, but there\u2019s no doubt that rostermania is in full swing.
