David Vonderhaar Teases the Return of a Fan Favorite Map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Treyarch\u2019s Game Design Director, David Vonderhaar, has hinted that the fan favorite map Nuketown could be returning yet again in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Is a Black Ops game really a Black Ops game if it doesn\u2019t include the legendary Nuketown map? Many people would argue that it isn\u2019t. Small, compact, and full of close-quarters action, Nuketown first appeared in the original Call of Duty: Black Ops game and was an instant hit with the online community. Such a hit, in fact, that a special event gametype was created, called Nuketown 24\/7, where players could quite literally play nothing but Nuketown for 24 hours a day. Black Ops 2 featured a slightly revamped Nuketown, Nuketown 2025, which was once again so popular that a Nuketown 24\/7 event was created and \u201cNuk3town\u201d in Black Ops 3 even managed to make the tiny map work with wallrunning and jetpacks. We\u2019ve even seen a Nuketown Zombies map and now, with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 due to release on October 12th 2018, David Vonderhaar has taken to Twitter to hint that it will be returning yet again.
