If there’s one thing that DrDisrespect, acclaimed creation of Guy Beahm, is known for, it’s his uncompromising opinions and passionate comments about all things video games. Despite being a big fan of Call of Duty: Warzone, he has outlined changes he wants to see the developers make in the past, and provided his viewers with a more exhaustive list during his April 23 live stream. Among other things, the Doc targeted a number of the game’s explosives, explaining that their removal would make Warzone considerably more balanced. “Remove RPGs, C4s, and bertha-trucks,” he said. “And you’ve got yourself a game that is definitely more skillful.” The Doc added: “Get rid of claymores, RPGs, C4s, and trucks and guess what? The game would be so much [more] skillful, don’t you think?” The Two-Time is not the first player to criticize explosives in Warzone, with summit1g among prominent community figures to rant about the lack of skill RPGs take to use. When asked if he’d add proximity mines to the list too, the Doc explained why he doesn’t mind them staying: “Proximity mines? You know what, proximity mines don’t bother me too much because there is a brief period where you can duck it. Just as long as you get the information of the audio if you don’t see it. That one doesn’t really bother me.” While the proximity mines are indeed triggered by player movement, if a player ducks them they are likely to survive. The other explosives listed by the streaming star give players far less warning and a considerably lower chance of survival. Finally, armored trucks, referred to by the two-time as ‘berthas’, are one of the more talked about vehicles in Warzone. Some players, Doc included, argue they do too much to protect the players inside, as well as not having sufficient counters. Currently, a number of the game’s vehicles can be blown up with a single explosive such as a proximity mine left in the middle of a road. Other vehicles, like the ‘bertha’ trucks, are much harder to counter. It’s ultimately a balancing act for Infinity Ward to try and find.

Dr Disrespect reveals major changes needed to make Warzone “skillful” Twitch: DrDisrespect/ActivisionTwitch powerhouse DrDisrespect has outlined every major change he wants to see in Call of Duty: Warzone, arguing they would make the game inherently more “skillful”.
