Last week, Microsoft shocked the gaming world by confirming a $70bn swoop for Activision Blizzard, with Warzone included as one of the buyout\u2019s biggest jewels. The shock ownership swap sees Microsoft claim monolithic franchises like Overwatch, World of Warcraft, and of course Call of Duty, and has seen many players claiming new management will be the spark many of the flagging series need to hit new heights. Dr Disrespect, however, isn\u2019t so sure. In fact, he\u2019s convinced Warzone is on its last legs \u2014 the problems keep piling up, the Doc claims, and Microsoft won\u2019t actually be able to save the dying battle royale. The two-time\u2019s claim came amid a $15k tournament he was playing alongside regular Warzone duo ZLaner, as he was beaten by a crafty enemy player. Dr Disrespect has been relatively vocal about his displeasure with Warzone and the battle royale\u2019s current state for weeks now, and all his Call of Duty rage boiled to the surface again after his death \u2014 he fired salvos at the title\u2019s audio issues, ongoing engine struggles. \u201cMicrosoft\u2019s not going to save you!\u201d the star YouTuber yelled. The Doc\u2019s leading argument \u2014 ramped up to eleven by his in-game rage \u2014 was that Warzone\u2019s core loops, designs, and balance have all been \u201cbroken\u201d over the years and have become impossible to resurrect in any meaningful way, no matter how many devs take a swing at it. \u201cThere\u2019s just nothing\u2026 nothing! There\u2019s so many problems. No audio [for one]. This game sucks,\u201d the two-time continued before addressing Raven Software. \u201cYour game sucks! Microsoft won\u2019t save you. It won\u2019t!\u201d The Doc slammed the table and delivered another barb: \u201cEven the game\u2019s engine is outdated! It\u2019s a wrap, really. The game is a wrap! Holy sh*t, it\u2019s done.\u201d Dr Disrespect\u2019s epic January 24 explosion is far from the first time he\u2019s taken potshots at Warzone recently too; the star YouTuber has been taking swipe after swipe at the title since the turn of the new year. The two-time\u2019s biggest issue, he explains, is Warzone losing the CoD feeling with new updates: \u201cIt\u2019s supposed to be this over-the-top blockbuster arcade game you can pop into, start playing and have fun with.
