While he concedes that the R9-0\u2019s range is not as good as the 725\u2019s, the R9-0\u2019s ability to \u201cclear out an entire room\u201d makes it the best shotgun in Modern Warfare. \u201cThis is a weapon that\u2019s a lot more hip-fire dependent,\u201d he says. \u201cYou\u2019re gonna run around really fast, you\u2019re gonna want to spam people.\u201d Drift0r emphasizes that it requires a certain play-style to maximize its effectiveness \u2013 necessitating that players get up close to their enemies and focus their gameplay around the unique two-shot-then-pump mechanism.
