While initially nothing more than speculation, Prestinni has since come forward and clarified the situation by commenting on the rumors himself. First reported by CDL Intel on Twitter, rumors have been circulating around Prestinni’s attendance at the Los Angeles event on March 7. Supposedly stepping back from the starting lineup during the next tournament run for the Mutineers, Fero has been eyed as a potential replacement. Reason unknown. — CDL Intel (@intelCDL) March 6, 2020 Additionally, CDL Intel also shared a lobby picture which appeared to feature Fero filling in for the Mutineers. Having consistently finished in the Top 4, with six first-place victories in online 1k and 2k Challengers tournaments, Fero has been actively competing since the latest title was released. His team even finished in the Top 12 of 168 rosters at the Launch Weekend Open in Minnesota. In a since-deleted Tweet from Prestinni, the veteran responded to a comment that the coronavirus was the reason behind his sudden absence from the LA event. “More to it than that,” he explained. “I won’t get into it though.
