With only eight teams participating at each home series after the launch weekend, however, CDL Atlanta will be the first time several teams are competing in a tournament format. There\u2019s plenty to look forward to at CDL Atlanta, but for many fans the highlight will undoubtedly be the anticipated meeting of home team Atlanta FaZe and Chicago Huntsmen. In the absence of FaZe, the Huntsmen secured a dominant win at CDL London, but the real battle for the top spot could still be to come. February 22, 2020 Pre-event Content Call of Duty League 2020 season standings – CDL ruleset changes announced for SnD & Domination in Modern Warfare – Power rankings ahead of CDL Atlanta – Format & rules All CDL home events after the CDL Launch weekend will operate a tournament format featuring eight of the league\u2019s 12 teams. The teams will be split into two groups of four, each of which will operate a double elimination bracket \u2013 two series wins secures a spot in the playoffs, two losses mean elimination. Four teams will reach the playoffs, which will consist of a single-elimination semifinals and final. In addition to glory at CDL Atlanta itself, teams will also pick up points towards the overall standings. Each series victory is worth 10 CDL Points, with 10 additional bonus points on offer to the winner of the event.
