Infinity Ward under fire after hiding changes in Modern Warfare patch According to avid members of the Call of Duty community on Reddit, Infinity Ward has allegedly been obscuring certain information from the most recent Modern Warfare patch notes. While there has been no shortage of vocal frustration in the community of late, Call of Duty fans have now taken aim at Infinity Ward for supposedly hiding an abundance of information in the latest patch notes. From weapon tuning to entirely new additions, dozens of alterations have seemingly been neglected. Regardless of whether these adjustments are major or insignificant in the grand scheme of things, dedicated Modern Warfare players are up in arms over the lack of clarity from Infinity Ward. Collated in a December 4 post from Reddit user \u2018FlylngFruitcake,\u2019 an abundance of changes were highlighted that seem to have fallen through the cracks of the two most recent set of patch notes for Version 1.10 and Version 1.11 respectively. Some of the most significant oversights appear to stem from weapon adjustments that have gone unchecked. From an increase in recoil on the AK47 assault rifle to a reduction in damage for the MG34 light machine gun, there\u2019s a number of seemingly major alterations that simply haven\u2019t been addressed in recent patch notes. Additionally, many popular game modes have been updated with various maps being rotated into play without comment. Akrlov Peak has been added to Cyber Attack and Hardcore Domination, while St. Petrograd is now playable in Survival mode for instance. While Infinity Ward is yet to comment on the sheer number of supposed changes that have been implemented across the board, it\u2019s worth bearing in mind that none of the outlined issues have been verified by the developers themselves. Take each adjustment with a grain of salt until official evidence is provided to support certain claims. Evidently outraged by the lack of explanation and clarity from the developers, Modern Warfare players have been quick to vocalize their frustrations at the state of the latest patch notes. \u201cThey only tell us what they want us to know, one of the worst examples of communication I\u2019ve seen from a dev team yet,\u201d Reddit user \u2018kstokes2019\u2019 expressed. Elaborating on how dedicated players had to come together in order to properly uncover every change featured in recent title updates, another Reddit user responded in bemusement. \u201cThe fact that the community has to pull together and come up with their own patch notes is absolutely asinine.\u201d It bears repeating that none of the changes listed throughout the post have been verified and no official comment has been put forth by Infinity Ward just yet. While it might seem shocking that developers would obscure certain information from their patch notes, Infinity Ward wouldn\u2019t be the first to do so.
