JoshOG\u2019s team wins 100 Thieves\u2019 $100K Warzone tourney: final placements JoshOG – Twitter \/ 100 Thieves \/ Infinity Ward100 Thieves\u2019 $100,000 \u2018Warzone From Home\u2019 Call of Duty battle royale tournament has now wrapped up, with JoshOG, Diegosaurs, and HusKers crowned champions. With Warzone being all the hype in the Call of Duty scene right now, 100 Thieves became one of several organizations to host massive tournaments featuring the popular new battle royale. Their March 20 event featured some of the biggest names in the online gaming community, with $50,000 of the prize money going to a charity of the winners\u2019 choosing, while the other half given away to viewers and fans. The trio of JoshOG, Diegosaurs, and HusKers came in first place, staking a claim to $25,000. They took down Fortnite pro Aydan and CoD streamers xAmpz and SuperEvan in the grand finals, with the second-place team earning $15,000 for charity. The top four were rounded off with KingRichard, Hill_APEX, and BCJ, and Mendo, xQc, and Aimbotcalvin, each team winning $5,000. A full recap of the tournament can be found below, including highlights and final placements. 100 Thieves\u2019 Warzone From Home \u2013 Grand Final Recap Unlike all of the previous rounds, the grand final consisted of three Warzone games instead of two, with the team that got the most points (based on eliminations and wins) at the end earning the championship. The grand final started off as a pretty one-sided affair in the favor of Team JoshOG, who took a fairly commanding 36-21 lead, despite not managing to get the win at the end and claim the bonus five points. Aydan\u2019s squad tried their best to get back into it in the second game, scoring plenty of kills and winning the match \u2013 but even that wasn\u2019t enough to cut the lead, as their opponents got their own victory to grow the lead to 89-71. https:\/\/twitter.com\/100Thieves\/status\/1241106687005618176 Knowing they had to go all out in the third and final game, Team Aydan dropped 35 kills, but were not able to get the victory; and with Team JoshOG getting enough eliminations to maintain the lead at 129-111, they were able to secure the tournament victory.
