Maven reveals why it was a good thing that FaZe didn\u2019t qualify for the CWL Pro League Dexerto\/MLGCall of Duty caster Clint \u2018Maven\u2019 Evans believes that FaZe Clan\u2019s failure to qualify for Pro League may just be a blessing in disguise for the players on the roster. The FaZe Clan roster headed into the Black Ops 4 season with plenty of hype and hope around them, but a disappointing 13-16 placed finish at CWL Vegas \u2013 which was quickly followed by a roster change that saw McArthur \u2018Cellium\u2019 Jovel replace Anthony \u2018Methodz\u2019 Zinni \u2013 meant FaZe would be playing from behind in their quest for Pro League qualification. They fluffed their chance at the Pro League qualifier, ending up with a 15-16 placed finish from the event. During Episode 16 of OpTic Gaming\u2018s Hector \u2018H3CZ\u2019 Rodriguez\u2019s Eavesdrop Podcast, Maven spoke on why he thinks that FaZe missing out on the Pro League may be a positive for the team, despite it looking like a completely negative situation in the interim. \u201cI think in a way, it\u2019s almost a good thing because those guys probably should have broken up in some way or another, a long time ago, but they\u2019d always just do good enough to stay together,\u201d he said. \u201cThey would suck at three tournaments in a row and win stage one playoffs. Suck at five tournaments in a row, get third at champs. They\u2019d have just enough performances to keep them together.\u201d (Timestamp of 8:10 for mobile viewers) Maven added: \u201cI think finally, this has forced them to break up. I know that sucks but they\u2019ll get on teams, they\u2019re going to be on top teams in the next couple of months.\u201d While the FaZe roster is stacked full of talented players, they all \u2013 as Maven predicts \u2013 should find homes on top rosters, if they part with the organization. Thomas \u2018ZooMaa\u2019 Paparatto has already hinted at himself potentially being OpTic Gaming\u2019s substitute player but there are contracts affecting that move and teammate Preston \u2018Priestahh\u2019 Greiner already finding his way onto a new team.
