Despite not being on the official list of content creators invited to the global reveal event for Modern Warfare multiplayer, Censor still somehow found himself at Activision Studios on August 1. While it wasn’t clear whether or not he was going to be allowed to play the game, the YouTuber did hang around for a little while, even conducting an informal interview on-screen with Gotaga, a former CoD pro himself. However, when he passed the mic back to the broadcast desk, Maven couldn’t help but take advantage of the opportunity to throw a jab at Censor that had the entire crew chuckling. While they were considered a power couple when they were dating, there was always an obvious language barrier between the two, as neither spoke the other’s native language well. The end of their relationship became a very public and highly-discussed topic among fans, pro players, and even the news, with many taking shots at the FaZe star, believing that he had chosen his CoD career over Garcia. However, Maven made it a point to clarify after the fact that he did not have malicious intent, and that his comments were nothing more than a joke. “It was all in good fun,” he tweeted. “I f*cking love Doug.
