By killing an enemy next to a wall, you\u2019ll see a blood splatter saying \u201823, which celebrates the new year pretty subtly. Though, you might also see one that is a bit more in your face as it says Happy New Year. The \u201823 splatter is the more common one, according to the Redditor\u2019s testing, but the Happy New Year splatter isn\u2019t exactly impossible to get.
