With developers Infinity Ward still keeping silent on the Multiplayer side of things in Modern Warfare, players are still in the dark in terms of what to expect from CoD\u2019s 2019 installment. From a competitive standpoint, MW Multiplayer will play an even larger role than previous titles, since CoD esports will be transitioning to a city-based franchised league for the first time in its history. Although there\u2019s little information currently available about the league, YouTuber \u2018TheGamingRevolution\u2019 claims to have insider knowledge about which game modes will be in the official competitive rotation. According to newly leaked details, there will be game modes featured \u2013 Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, Capture the Flag, Domination, and Infection. 5 game modes in CWL (that I previously stated) are HP, SnD, Infection, CTF, DOM \u2014 TheGamingRevolution (@TheGamingRevoYT) July 10, 2019 While the other four modes have been used in CoD esports at one point or another, the only one that will be a complete novelty is Infection, a brand new mode apparently coming to Modern Warfare. According to the YouTuber, Infection will be essentially be a reversed version of CTF, in that players will be required to take their team\u2019s flag to the enemy base. In classic CTF, the objective for teams is to infiltrate the enemy side, steal their flag, and navigate back to their own side and capture it. New mode featured in CWL called infection. It’s reverse CTF. He recently leaked a new mode coming to MW called Gunfight, which ended up being confirmed as an actual mode just a short time later, and is the first thing on the list in Multiplayer that will be revealed to the public. Popular streamers and content creators have announced that they will be unveiling Gunfight for the first time on July 11, and you can watch those reveal streams live HERE. For those of you who do not believe me: I leaked gunfight mode a couple weeks ago now and it was just confirmed today.
