Hot off the heels of the major Season 3 launch on April 8, Infinity Ward has rotated in brand new modes and cosmetics in a fresh April 13 update. From new Warzone additions to old Modern Warfare favorites and plenty more, here’s a full rundown on the latest set of content. New Warzone Trios Playlist The first new addition brings about a new form of Warzone competition with the Scopes and Scatter Guns playlist. Instead of having access to the full arsenal of Modern Warfare’s weaponry, players will be limited to just shotguns and snipers, blending long and close-range combat together in the 150-player mode. This new take on the battle royale trope is a trios-exclusive mode for the time being, but there’s no telling just how long the variant will be available. An old Modern Warfare mode makes a comeback Drop Zone has also been reintroduced to Modern Warfare’s multiplayer playlists in the April 13 update. The objective-based mode provides ample killstreaks for the teams in control of the zone. Teams earn points by defending a given zone, and the most players inside, the more points you’ll rack up. It’s a classic game type that first made its mark on Modern Warfare 3, but was brought back into the 2019 release just weeks after launch as a limited-time mode. Thanks to the latest update, it’s back in rotation once again. Brand new cosmetics A slew of new cosmetic items were also dropped into the store with the latest update. Two new bundles featuring emblems, operator skins, and plenty more are now up for grabs. The Twin Dragons bundle features the following items: Kingly Splendor – Assault Rifle – The Alchemist’s Dream – Handgun – Soul Of The Mountain – Emblem – Spirit Of The Spring – Emblem – While the Cleanup Crew bundle includes the following: Irradiated – OTTER skin – Meltdown – Sniper Rifle – Wire Tap – Handgun – Acid Rain – Watch – Ice Breaker – OTTER Finishing Move – Don’t Go Nowhere – OTTER Quip – Drainage – Calling Card – Terminal Patrol – Emblem – 1 Battle Pass Tier Skip – There’s no telling just how long these modes and cosmetics will be available so get in quick before you miss out. Finally, there’s no better time to drop into battle as Double XP will also be enabled. Starting on April 17 at 10AM PDT until April 20 at 10AM PDT, players will earn double the experience across Warzone, Special Ops, and Modern Warfare’s multiplayer modes.

Modern Warfare adds new Warzone mode & more in April 13 playlist update Infinity WardInfinity Ward has revealed new modes and cosmetics being added into Modern Warfare and Warzone in an April 13 playlist update across all platforms.
