Morituri picked up Ethan ‘FA5TBALLA’ Wedgeworth, Evan ‘Holler’ Howard, Michael ‘Saids’ Beehzy, and Kade ‘Kade’ Jones in February of 2018 ahead of the $200,000 CWL Atlanta Open. The team showed some promise at the event, finishing in 21st – 24th place after being eliminated in a close 3-2 loss to GGEA Orange in the first round of the Championship Losers Bracket. Unfortunately, despite some flashes of excellence, the team were never able to build upon that result and found themselves finishing in 29th – 32nd at CWL Birmingham followed by an even more disappointing 41st – 48th at CWL Seattle. Read More: Clayster Makes Some Bold Claims About the New OpTic and Luminosity Gaming Call of Duty Rosters – Things have been rather quiet regarding the roster since Seattle but Kade already made the switch to EZG eSports in May and it was widely believed that the rest of the team would be breaking up and going their separate ways. This was confirmed on May 24th when Morituri eSports confirmed that FA5TBALLA, Kade, and Beehzy have all officially departed from the team, leaving just Holler remaining. #MorituriCOD Roster Update – Goodbye!@beehzy17 @Kade416 @FA5TBALLA We just wanted to give a huge thanks to these guys! We had a wonderful time with them playing under Morituri eSports! With that said we will not be attending #CWLAnaheim – We Will be back for LCQ & Champs! pic.twitter.com/Ziq6OMon9L — Morituri eSports (@Morituriesports) May 24, 2018 It seems like the relationship between the players and organization was a close one, with Morituri saying that they had a “wonderful time” working with them. Beehzy also responded, saying “Love you guys”, so it would appear that this is one of those rare occasions where a split doesn’t involve any bad blood in any direction. Love you guys > — Beehzy (@beehzy17) May 24, 2018 FA5TBALLA and Beehzy have yet to find new organizations but it looks like Beehzy plans on playing with the likes of Steven ‘Stamino’ Damiano at CWL Anaheim. Holler seems to be planning to continue competing under Morituri for future conversations and has even hinted that he would be willing to attend CWL Anaheim with a pickup team.

Morituri Announce Major Update to Their Competitive Call of Duty Team Ahead of CWL Anaheim @beehzy17Morituri eSports have announced that they have parted ways with three quarters of their competitive Call of Duty team ahead of CWL Anaheim.
