Recently, players have taken aim at the devs and called for the removal of Riot Shields from the game \u2014 claiming they are \u201cway too cheesy\u201d and are \u201cruining matches.\u201d Others have become increasingly frustrated over the \u201cinsanely aggressive\u201d skill-based matchmaking system, making games \u201coverly competitive\u201d and \u201cless enjoyable.\u201d However, players are now hitting out at the game\u2019s \u201cawful\u201d iron sights, claiming it restricts visibility on weapons. MW3 players slam \u201cawful\u201d iron sights In a November 25 Reddit thread, one MW3 player started a discussion surrounding the default iron sights on weapons. \u201cIs it just me or are almost all the iron sights in this game awful?\u201d they wrote. \u201cEvery single gun seems to have a ghost ring around the sights [that] block your vision and they are usually very tight making them awkward to see with,\u201d the player explained. They added: \u201cI feel like I use a sight on pretty much every gun, SMGs are normally the gun class where you never need to use a sight but not in this game.\u201d In the replies, many others agreed, with one going as far as to say the iron sights are \u201cabsolutely atrocious.\u201d \u201cHonestly first CoD in a long time where I\u2019ve felt sights of some sort are mandatory,\u201d said one. \u201cThere are very few MWIII added weapons that have decent iron sights.\u201d \u201cThey are absolutely atrocious.
