The Modern Warfare series reboot has taken players back to what they know and love from the Call of Duty franchise. However, while 2023\u2019s MW3 release brought back a ton from its predecessors, there are still several things fans want to see return. Since the game\u2019s release, the community has asked the devs to bring back classic features, and now they want to see reticle customization return. MW3 players want reticle customization back In a Reddit thread posted on January 13, one MW3 fan kicked off a discussion as they called for reticle customization to make its return to the franchise. \u201cBring back reticle customization. I really wish they\u2019d bring this back,\u201d the player wrote. \u201cI don\u2019t understand why it was removed to begin with.\u201d They added: \u201cI feel like the better reticle sights have the worst frame of view or visual cluster when ADSing. Wish they\u2019d bring it back.\u201d In replies to the post, it\u2019s clear that most of the community would love to see the customization option return. \u201cYes please!\u201d one wrote. \u201cI\u2019ve been thinking about this all week! I miss that,\u201d said another. Although many want to see it return just for the fun it brings to the game, according to one fan it actually helps with accessibility for color-blind players. \u201cAs a color-blind person I cherish this feature,\u201d they said. \u201cRed Green being the most common type of color blind, red and green optics don\u2019t exactly track well with this disability. I wish they would always include this feature for accessibility reasons and not solely customizations. \u201cAnd.. No the color blind options in game don\u2019t help. They affect world stuff and hud, not the sights,\u201d the player explained.
