League Play, originally planned to launch in BO4 in December, was delayed until ‘early 2019’ – and it’s been radio silence from developers Treyarch since. Players are desperate for any news regarding when they can expect League Play, a feature originally teased months before the game’s release, and that has been in the past two Black Ops titles at launch. Even some of the big names in CoD esports are now publicly demanding Treyarch make a fresh announcement at the very least, as the community runs out of patience. Former professional player and owner of 100 Thieves, Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag was one of the big names to make a point of League Play still not being available. Team Envy captain Patrick ‘ACHES’ Price highlighted how long the wait has been since Black Ops 4’s release, as League Play is still nowhere to be seen. 3 months of BO4 being out. 0 months of league being play out. Hate to see it. — Patrick Price (@ACHES) January 3, 2019 OpTic Gaming’s Brandon ‘Dashy’ Otell kept is short and sweet with his League Play tweet. Former professional and popular YouTuber Doug ‘Censor’ Martin was more polite in his approach, but the message was clear. Treyarch is still keeping everything under wraps, but perhaps the competitive community can look forward to an announcement during the CWL Pro League qualifier. The CWL Pro League proper starts in February, so it’s also possible that Treyarch are planning to launch League Play alongside the start of the professional league. For now however, even these big names calling on Treyarch for some new information appears to be falling on deaf ears.

Nadeshot and Scump among CoD personalities demanding League Play in Black Ops 4 As the wait for an announcement regarding League Play in Black Ops 4 continues, some of the biggest names in Call of Duty are becoming (understandably) impatient.
