OpTic Hitch recounts hilarious story of Scump and FormaL\u2019s time in Paris OpTic Gaming\u2019s Davis \u2018Hitch\u2019 Edwards has been creating content for the popular esports organization for years, meaning it\u2019s no surprise for him to have plenty of hilarious stories to tell about the team. In one such story, Hitch recounts the time he and former OpTic member Matthew \u2018FormaL\u2019 Piper were having a tough time getting Seth \u2018Scump\u2019 Abner ready for a flight back home from Paris. After a night out filled with plenty of drinking, Scump was in a completely debilitated state, causing FormaL to reach out to Hitch for help. Hitch found Scump wide-eyed and apparently asleep on the bathroom floor. \u201cI open the bathroom door and it hits Seth\u2019s head because he\u2019s lying on the bathroom floor,\u201d Hitch said. \u201cHe\u2019s asleep in the bathroom eyes wide open. If he wasn\u2019t snoring, I would\u2019ve thought he was dead.\u201d After Hitch\u2019s failed attempt to help his teammate, it took a bellowing call from OpTic Gaming\u2019s owner and CEO, Hector \u201cH3CZ\u201d Rodriguez to revitalize a hungover Scump. Hitch is unclear about what H3CZ did, but moments later in the hotel lobby, a visibly annoyed H3CZ is walking in front of a seemingly chipper and gathered Scump. The entire time leading up to their flight Scump remembers annoying FormaL at a near-constant rate by getting in his face while saying \u201cU-S-and A\u201d with both hands signaling the peace-sign. \u201cI kept doing that over and over and over,\u201d Scump said. \u201cMatt literally hated me. He hated me!\u201d Hitch goes on to speculate if former teammate FormaL would recount that story in good humor or if that was the moment that started his exit from the team. \u201cI wonder if Matt laughs about in now, or if that was like \u2018the start,\u2019\u201d Hitch said while signaling a downward-trajectory with his hand. \u201cI\u2019m sure he\u2019ll laugh about it one day.
