Having made the decision not to attend the Los Angeles Home Series event on March 7, the pro\u2019s shoes were filled by competitive veteran Maurice \u2018Fero\u2019 Henriquez for the duration of the tournament where the squad finished in sixth place overall. In the weeks that followed, Call of Duty League events have been canceled and matches have been shifted online, however, Prestinni hasn\u2019t been able to return to his starting role as the Mutineers look to proceed in a different direction. As the Call of Duty scene prepares for the transition to online-only matches, season standings could be thrown for a loop as certain rosters begin to shine brighter than ever before under the new format. The Florida Mutineers appear to have found their groove while scrimming online with Fero, as a March 22 comment from Prestinni revealed that he is still benched weeks after the LA Home Series. \u201cNot my decision anymore to be benched. So no that\u2019s not the case,\u201d he chimed in on a since-deleted Reddit thread pertaining to his future with the Mutineers. As the former World Champion intentionally sidelined himself ahead of the LA event, Prestinni has seemingly had no say in jumping back up to the main roster since Fero officially joined the Mutineers on March 6. While CDL substitutes aren\u2019t allowed to actively compete in the Challengers scene, Preston appears to have been keeping busy with another roster all the while. \u201cBefore people start coming at me about scrimming with a new team, it\u2019s just a team for fun to pass the time,\u201d he explained on March 21. \u201cI\u2019m still playing for [the] Mutineers,\u201d he added, just 24 hours prior to commenting about the organization\u2019s decision to keep him on the bench.
