Treyarch haven\u2019t formally announced Blundell or any of the executives\u2019 firings and it remains to be seen if they will do so, especially considering this happened weeks back, according to the story. There\u2019s no one reason for what led to the firings but a separate account suggests that Blundell\u2019s tendency to leak information led to his removal. YouTuber TheGamingRevolution alleges Blundell\u2019s firing came as a result of the Black Ops 3\/4 debacle along with his penchant for leaks while drinking. \u201cJason\u2019s departure was mainly a result of the pre-BO3\/BO4 campaign disasters and the last straw was that he kept drinking and giving away leaks whilst under the influence.\u201d Activision fired around 10 Treyarch employees, including Jason Blundell. If it is true, then the Zombies mode will likely undergo some serious changes in the future as a person with a different vision will take control. Zombies is one of the most popular modes in the Call of Duty series so this will certainly be something to keep an eye on.
