There’s no denying Modern Warfare’s step into the battle royale genre has been a smash hit success since its March 10 release — more than 30 million players have already loaded into Warzone, and there’s plenty more on the way. While many have fallen in love with Warzone, including Dr Disrespect, shroud has been a little harder to convince in regards to the CoD BR being top-tier. This time, the streamer has vehicles in his sights, and he thinks its time for them to go. According to shroud, transport options like trucks, buggies, and choppers “don’t have a place in Warzone.” He compared it to H1Z1, which is ruled by vehicles. Compared to Daybreak’s old battle royale, he said, cars in Warzone just don’t work. “They should turn off vehicles or something. I think they should turn off vehicles in general,” he said, and added base player speed made cars all-but obsolete. “You run pretty fast, you get across the map fast already just by running.” He added H1Z1 “got vehicles right” by having them be easily destroyed, creating new gameplay moments. With Warzone’s higher strength cars and trucks, the transport options rule the battlefield with their protection and speed. “It feels like H1Z1 solos where you drive around in a car and when the time is right you blast them, or you run them over with the car. It feels like H1Z1, [but the problem is] it’s a lot harder to blow up a vehicle [in Warzone],” he said. While Shroud’s most recent ideas about how to improve were about vehicles, it’s certainly not the only thing he’s suggested Infinity Ward tweak. He also recently revealed he was concerned the battle royale would be “impossible to balance.” Before that, he took a swipe at the title’s respawn system, as well as Warzone’s “super fast” gas. That’s not to say he hasn’t been enjoying it, of course — he also dubbed the “chaotic” game mode “more impressive than Apex.” Shroud isn’t the only streamer to slam vehicles either: Summit branded Warzone’s cars and trucks “overpowered.” He had a little less luck with helicopters, however, accidentally blowing his team up during the $50k Code Green tournament.

Shroud explains why Infinity Ward should “turn off” CoD Warzone vehicles Infinity Ward / Mixer: shroudMichael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek has called for Infinity Ward to “turn off” the vast array of vehicles found across Verdansk in Warzone, and suggested they don’t have a place in Call of Duty’s newly-released battle royale.
