Syndicate, Pamaj, Censor, more respond to Modern Warfare\u2019s minimap issue Call of Duty: Modern Warfare\u2019s multiplayer beta is now live, but with fans complaining that that the game is difficult to play without a minimap, a number of pro players and content creators have weighed in on the situation. The Modern Warfare multiplayer beta officially released on Thursday, September 12, giving fans of the long-running first-person shooter franchise their first opportunity to take to the battlefield and test their skills ahead of the game\u2019s launch on October 25. The lack of minimap in the game has raised some eyebrows though, and a number of popular content creators and professional players have taken to social media to voice their frustrations with the decision. YouTuber Tom \u2018Syndicate\u2019 Cassell immediately started a campaign in the hopes of persuading Infinity Ward to revert their decision and bring back the useful tool that has been a staple of Call of Duty games. The Englishman wrote: \u201cLike this tweet if you want a permanent minimap in Modern Warfare,\u201d with over 3,000 people showing their support for the idea in just five hours. Beta summary: gameplay, guns, movement seems great. Lack of minimap and maps are horrendous. While frustrations continue about the lack of the map, it does seem that Infinity Ward is willing to listen to the criticism from fans, creators, and pro players alike, meaning we may see it introduced to the game sooner or later.
