YouTuber and top Warzone star TimTheTatman continues to pick holes in the battle royale\u2019s Caldera update, claiming the map swap has made the game feel \u201cdead\u201d already. Betar has been a long advocate for what has become Call of Duty\u2019s flagship title in the last two years, but even he is beginning to lose his patience with Caldera and the game\u2019s Pacific update. In particular, he is beginning to voice major fears around the title\u2019s future, claiming it \u201cfeels dead\u201d these days. \u201cCaldera\u2026 it really is chalked, isn\u2019t it?\u201d he said. \u201cI don\u2019t see anyone on the maps anymore, everything takes so long to do. You actually battled other people on Verdansk. This new map just feels dead, always.\u201d According to the star YouTuber, who joined the red-branded website as its top Warzone streamer in September, the Pacific update has taken Call of Duty\u2019s battle royale in the wrong direction, leaving him fearful for the future. \u201cIt\u2019s the way the map plays, do you guys agree?\u201d he said. \u201cEver since the change to Caldera, you don\u2019t see near as many people. It has to be the map design. I don\u2019t see nearly as many people as [Verdansk]. That\u2019s really worrying. \u201cFive minutes goes by and you don\u2019t see one person here,\u201d the YouTuber continued. \u201cIn the old map, I think you\u2019d see maybe ten, more in the same time waiting.\u201d \u201cI don\u2019t think the change has been good. If I was playing Verdansk, running around, we\u2019d definitely be seeing people. Not like one or two either, but like ten people. There\u2019s something about the way Caldera is playing out, maybe it\u2019s just people ratting victories, but it seems to be dead. It feels dead, the whole map, the game. I haven\u2019t seen a single person except that one random dude flying around. The way the map is designed. I don\u2019t know, but if it stays like this I can see people quitting the game. TimTheTatman sighed, then laughed: \u201cI\u2019m just starting to realize just how chalked Caldera really is. This isn\u2019t even Call of Duty. It doesn\u2019t feel like CoD anymore.\u201d TimTheTatman voiced similar fears about a slower Warzone experience last week too, claiming at the time Caldera has sucked all the original \u201cfeeling\u201d out of the Call of Duty battle royale, especially in regards to its pace. \u201cOn Caldera, there\u2019s this weird lull in the middle of every game where I\u2019m waiting to actually full send,\u201d the popular Warzone streamer said. \u201cWe\u2019ll probably get used to it but I promise you people won\u2019t like this feeling. \u201cMan, you just want to full send every game, that\u2019s what you do in Warzone.
