In an interview with the Daily Star, Miller spoke about Treyarch’s decision: “[The single player mode] is only missing at this moment in time. I really think with every game we make, we finish that title and then we ask ‘what is it fans are gonna love the most?’ If that’s another traditional campaign, then we’ll make another traditional campaign. But right now, for what our goals were for Black Ops 4, it was just [multiplayer, Zombies and Blackout] that we were focused on.” We do not believe this to mean that Black Ops 4 will release a DLC single player campaign, but rather that future instalments of the Call of Duty series developed by Treyarch could feature a traditional single player campaign. In Miller’s interview he did not address the situation of former Infinity Ward developers leaving Respawn and returning to Infinity Ward, but this news has sparked speculation of a Modern Warfare 4. This means fans could see a return to single player campaigns in Call of Duty as soon as 2019. In his own words, Miller had this to say about Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer: “In terms of the future of the franchise, Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer are their own awesome teams, they’re doing their own thing. And I have no idea what they’re doing! They couldn’t, for example, make Blackout… because that’s just quintessentially Black Ops, you know?” So, it sounds like fans of the single player campaigns can be optimistic about the future.

Treyarch Dev Says Future CoD Games Could Have Campaign; Has No Idea What Infinity Ward or Sledgehammer Are Doing In a recent interview Treyarch Senior Producer, Yale Miller, declared that single player campaigns are “only missing at the moment.” In the same interview with the Daily Star Online, Miller explained that he is not aware […]

[1

post-31994","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
