The aim assist debate has been once that\u2019s raged in multiplayer shooter games ever since cross-platform play first started getting popular, forming a divide between mouse and keyboard players and their controller counterparts. Many mouse and key players believe that aim assist gives controller users an unfair advantage and, with this clip that\u2019s starting to go viral, it looks like they might have a point. As shown, when coming up against speed hackers zipping around Vondel like The Flash, streamer Falnets, who plays on controller, had little trouble tracking the cheaters\u2019 movements and getting the finish on them, much to the bemusement of M&K players. It didn\u2019t take long for the clips to start gaining traction, much of it from mouse and keyboard players who couldn\u2019t believe what they were seeing. In the comments, some players suggest that the game is a \u201cjoke\u201d because rotational aim assist can keep up with the player so easily, while others even compared it to \u201clegalized cheating.\u201d \u201cIf you still think COD rotational aim assist is fair and balanced after this clip, you\u2019re not allowed to complain about audio tweaks EVER again,\u201d said content creator Westie. \u201cGuy is trying to fight speed hackers and the AA still doesn\u2019t let go! This is insane.\u201d Obviously, this has raised some questions from players over whether aim assist is even more overpowered than they first anticipated, as technically you wouldn\u2019t expect anybody to be able to follow a speed hacker in this manner.
