Warzone & MW3 players flame Season 5 Reloaded update: \u201cWhat did they even do?\u201d ActivisionAfter spending a few hours with the Season 5 Reloaded update, Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone players questioned if the changes were enough to make any substantial difference. For multiplayer, the latest mid-season update introduced four new game modes, added an alternate version of Stash House, and re-balanced a few weapons. Meanwhile, Supreme Resurgence returned to Warzone, along with elite contracts and a UAV public event. Raven Software attempted to re-balance the short and long-range meta by nerfing STG44 and Static-HV, but data shows that both downgrades failed to knock them out of contention. Season 5 Reloaded also introduces two new weapons. The Torque 35 is a bow and arrow capable of pinning enemies against the wall. Next, the spear is a new melee weapon players can throw or lunge with. ModernWarzone asked for first impressions on the latest update, and feedback was overwhelmingly negative. One player asked, \u201cWhat did they even do?\u201d Other complaints called out not adding a new 6v6 multiplayer map and for releasing two weapons that aren\u2019t strong enough to compete with top meta options. A second user summed up their feelings by saying, \u201cworst update ever. no new 6v6 maps and a bow and spear that arent even that good.\u201d The spear falls short of expectations because of slow movement, and if you fail to retrieve all three, you won\u2019t have a weapon in that slot until you find more ammo. In addition, the melee weapon has weak throw velocity even if you charge it up. As for the Torque 35, it boasts a phenomenal reload speed, but since it falls under the launcher category, finding ammo becomes a tedious chore after running out. Players also took umbrage with the fact that Raven Software removed Solos and Quads from Resurgence, making it hard for users who don\u2019t have friends to play with. \u201cNo solo resurgence.. no quads resurgence.. weekly challenges are focused around fortunes keep which is only on trios\u201d a third commenter questioned.
