Since its inception, Warzone\u2018s provided a challenge for developers to balance, and for good reason. As each new CoD title integrates with the battle royale, it adds another layer of items to balance. MW3\u2019s Warzone integration was no different, with issues like the MTZ Interceptor and the Tyr Snake Shots causing nightmares to players. Both issues have been addressed, although it took some time for that to happen. However, it seems the one problem that won\u2019t go away is the infamous Lockwood 300 and its Maelstrom Dual Trigger attachment. Warzone update nerfs Lockwood 300 yet again Since its arrival in last year\u2019s MW2, the Lockwood 300 has seen more nerfs than players can count. As mentioned, the problem is the Maelstrom Dual Trigger attachment, causing it to one-shot players. It was removed right before the holidays until it rejoined during the Season 1 Reloaded update, albeit with minor fixes. Of course, the fixes weren\u2019t enough, as the gun still saw high usage with said attachment. That said, a new playlist update has gone live, once again disabling it. Much like the previous scenario, it\u2019ll still be visible in the Gunsmith, although it can\u2019t be equipped. Player feedback was unsurprisingly positive, as this issue is seemingly in a cursed loop. Warzone content creator, JoeWo, replied with praise although he highlighted the other issues in-game that needed addressing: \u201cW, BUT CAN YOU PLEASE FIX THE NEW SMG FOR PEOPLE THAT UNLOCKED IT THE FIRST DAY?\u201d With the Lockwood 300 a timeless menace at this point, it\u2019ll be interesting to see what more the developers will do to the gun.
