Season 1 end date ActivisionSeason Two of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 is rapidly approaching, promising a huge amount of content for both titles. Here’s exactly when to expect it and what to expect when it does release. Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0’s global launch coincided with Modern Warfare 2’s Season One, meaning both titles started their first season of post-launch content simultaneously. That’s ultimately what we expected and, given how the past few CoD titles aligned with the first Warzone, how we expect the Modern Warfare 2 life-cycle to progress. We’ve now had Season One Reloaded drop, bringing Shipment and a raft of other changes to the CoD BR and annual installment. That means the next major update fans can expect is the new season itself. As such, we’re looking at when it will drop and what content will accompany it. When does Season Two start? Season Two of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 was originally set to go live on February 1 but was delayed by a fortnight. As a result, it will be dropping on Wednesday February 15. Specifically, we expect it to go live at 9am PT / 12pm EST / 5pm GMT on that date. We don’t have a confirmed length for Season Two, but typical seasons are around two months in length. Season One was almost three months long, but that is factoring in the aforementioned delay and the holidays. MW2 & Warzone 2 Season Two content We now have an official roadmap for the upcoming season, so we know exactly what to expect. The highlights include Ashika Island – a brand new Resurgence environment for Warzone 2, as well as the return of Valderas Museum in MW2. It will be joined by Modern Warfare 3’s Dome and two battle maps. There’s a host of other changes confirmed for Warzone 2. Gulags will revert to 1v1s and ‘vomit’ looting will return, meaning loot will drop into the open when players are eliminated. We also anticipate more cash and cheaper prices, with players complaining throughout Season 1 that money is too scarce and rewards too expensive. The devs have pledged to listen to community feedback and many of their confirmed changes have proved popular to this point.
