The YouTuber and racing driver, who has been behind the wheel of some of the most highly sought after cars, took some time to explain the \u201cscary\u201d cost of keeping the Range Rover Sport SVR on the road back on January 5. He revealed that he dropped \u00a39,000 in finance to make the purchase happen before noting that just to own it costs \u00a3900 a month \u2013 with an additional \u00a3400 a month in fuel costs. However, the vehicle is no longer going to be a burden to him as he\u2019s explained his reasons for selling it off. During his aptly titled \u2018Why I\u2019m selling my Range Rover SVR\u2019 video, the YouTuber revealed that ever since he made the purchase and started creating content around his \u201cdream car,\u201d his fans haven\u2019t been wholly receptive. \u201cIt\u2019s easy to say ignore that [the response] but I didn\u2019t ignore that because I want my followers to enjoy my cars as much as I do,\u201d the YouTuber said. \u201cI wouldn\u2019t be able to do this everyone who watches my videos and I want them to love the car I drive and it was adamant from day one that people didn\u2019t want the Range Rover Sport SVR.\u201d After explaining that he reads all the comments, with a lot of the top ones being negative words like \u201cboring,\u201d Hamilton further noted that it had \u201cput a dampener\u201d on owning the car, even though he\u2019s not the victim because he\u2019s still driving a \u201cseriously nice\u201d set of wheels. The YouTuber also said that because he\u2019s in the business of making unique content, he got the feeling that the car wasn\u2019t \u201cunique enough\u201d while rubbishing any claims that he\u2019s selling it because he can\u2019t afford the eye-watering costs and explaining that it\u2019s all about making the fans happy.
