The popular car enthusiast, who has amassed nearly two million subscribers on YouTube, has a highly sought after collection of vehicles that he regularly reviews and makes videos around. Long-time viewers have seen him make plenty of content around Ferrari’s – including the FF and GTC4Lusso – with the latter being the newest, and his current daily driver car. However, it isn’t the cheapest car to run on a daily basis and over its lifetime is going to lead to some incredible costs that the YouTuber broke down. During his aptly titled ‘How Much Does it Cost to Own a Ferrari?’ video, Shmee took viewers through the running costs of the car that costs around £300,000 when it’s brand-new and off the production line. According to the YouTuber though, he didn’t buy his new, instead, purchasing one that is just over a year old and ended up priced around £200,000. Of course, that’s a nice chunk of change to be spending, but he didn’t do it all in one go. Instead, he went the finance route, paying around a quarter of the asking price as a deposit and then around £2,000 a month in payments. While that may seem like his biggest cost, it isn’t. Instead, the depreciation of the car’s value is going to set him back the most as, according to Shmee, if he kept it for three years, this would be the most “significant” cost. However, keeping it running for those three years isn’t cheap either. The British YouTuber noted while that as Ferrari has free servicing for a car’s first seven years, buying a warranty costs £4,000 per year after the first four years and just keeping it fueled up is a further £3,500 to £4,000 a year. “I’m not going to sit here and pretend that this is not an expensive car, we are still talking £35,000 a year for 10,000 miles of driving but that’s in a Ferrari which is awesome and I find that – with the combination of the included servicing and the sense of you choose which car to buy – really, really cool,” the YouTube explained. That total price includes the personal costs of insurance and keeping it parked up, but they can, obviously, depend on the owner. “its not as bad as you might think it is,” Shmee added about the total cost. “For me, of course, it’s the perfect match,” he said before praising the Ferrari’s practicality compared to his other vehicles. “It’s a really, really good package.”

YouTuber Shmee reveals how much it costs to own a Ferrari GTC4Lusso YouTube: Shmee150YouTuber Shmee150 has revealed the eye-watering cost of keeping his Ferrari GTC4Lusso V12 running for a year – while also taking into account the massive amount he may lose while owning it for a few years.
