The presence of vampires and other monsters may surprise some fans, but it shouldn\u2019t. Marvel\u2019s always had one toe dipped into the realm of horror comics after their early success in the genre. Even when Marvel shifted to superhero comics, characters like Dracula and Werewolf by Night kept the legacy alive, regularly crossing over with titles like X-Men and Moon Knight. Every Marvel\u2019s Blood Hunt tie-in comic, mini-series, & one-shot Contents Blood Hunt limited event series issues – Blood Hunt tie-in issue – Blood Hunt mini-series issues – Blood Hunt one-shots – What comes after Blood Hunt? – Marvel\u2019s Blood Hunt kicks off with a Free Comic Book Day tie-in. After that, the story will continue in a five-issue limited series, with tie-in issues spanning everything from Amazing Spider-Man to Doctor Strange. The core Blood Hunt series will actually have two distinct releases: a normal edition for all ages and a special red band expanded edition with additional gore and violence. This continues Marvel\u2019s current trend of leaning into more violent offerings, like Wolverine\u2019s current Sabretooth War arc. Blood Hunt Main Series Blood Hunt will be told primarily through a five-issue limited series, a free prequel comic and a Free Comic Book Day one-shot. Blood Hunt tie-in issues The story of Blood Hunt spills out of the five-issue limited series, as the event ties into the Vengeance of the Moon Knight, The Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Doctor Strange, Venom, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Fantastic Four ongoing titles. Blood Hunt mini-series issues In addition to the main limited series and tie-ins, a number of Blood Hunt mini-series will spin out of the event. Some pretty substantial Marvel events will happen here, including the return of the Midnight Sons and Black Panther being transformed into a vampire. Blood Hunt One-Shots Marvel has teased six Blood Hunt one-shots that will tie into the event. On February 20, Marvel announced four of these books would be X-Men-related, bringing the mutants back into contact with vampires for the first time since 2010\u2019s Curse of the Mutants. All the X-Men books will also be running alongside the X-Men reboot, From the Ashes, though the books appear to still be using Krakoa-era logos. The final two one-shots will feature stories focused on Werewolf by Night and Hulk. What comes after Blood Hunt? While Blood Hunt is still a few months away as of this writing, Marvel is already teasing what\u2019s next after the event. The major players will certainly have big changes, but we know at least one book will release: a new Werewolf by Night title by Jason Loo (who will write the Werewolf by Night: Blood Hunt one-shot) and Venom artist Sergio D\u00e1vila. Interestingly, the new Werewolf by Night will continue the Red Band\/Explicit Content trend, offering readers a more violent and mature series than Marvel traditionally produces.
