When the anime released in 2019, it immediately became one of the world’s most popular series, capturing the hearts and imaginations of millions of fans across the globe as they became enthralled by the series’ dark themes and relatable characters. The show follows the protagonist Tanjira Kamado, who joins the Slayer corps when his family are brutally murdered by a group of demons, who also turn his sister into one of their own kind. Desperate to find a cure for his sibling, he surrounds himself with the greatest swordsmen in the world, and encounters some of the planet’s greatest warriors, known as Pillars. Shinobu Kocho is known as the Insect Pillar, and is classed as one of the most skilled and powerful warriors in the show, drawing many to become fans of the character. It’s no surprise that many choose to cosplay as her to show their appreciation for the character, and ‘sayumcgarden’ became the latest to show off an incredible take on the fighter, wearing a costume designed by Doki Doki Cosplay, and wielding a sword created by ‘migueljayzet’. The character’s laid-back attitude and friendly demeanor make her easy to relate to, but don’t let that fool you, as she’s a ferocious combatant with almost unmatched skill when a blade is in her hand, truly making her an opponent not to be trifled with. Sayu’s cosplay is as close to perfect as you can get, with all of the details captured in her incredible take. A purple butterfly sits on the crown of her head, perched on top of her black and purple hair, while she wears Kocho’s instantly recognizable haori, which bursts into color at the bottom to mimic the wings of a butterfly. She even has her trusty green-handled sword, which is tucked into the belt around her waist, on top of her Demon Slayer uniform. View this post on Instagram ?“Mushi no kokyū!
