My Hero Academia began airing its fourth season on October 12. The show\u2019s take on superheroes integrated into society has resonated with audiences around the world, and amassed a dedicated fandom. The series centers on a world where humans evolve to have superpowers call quirks, and talented students attend a hero high school aimed at training to become a pro hero. One talented cosplayer\u2019s take on the show\u2019s bad boy heats things up as they bring him to life. Firey Bakugo cosplay While the show focuses on the kind hearted Izuku Midoriya, the show is balanced out with his childhood friend Katsuki Bakugo \u2013 a hot headed sometimes-bully, who is one of the strongest kids at U.A. High School with a quirk that allows him to create explosions with his own sweat. Cosplayer \u2018NerdChopcosplay\u2019 brought the volatile character to life, perfectly recreating the student\u2019s grenade bracers. In the anime, the character produces nitroglycerin in his sweat, and designed his costume around storing the fluids in the bracers for maximum power of his explosions. The cosplayer went to great lengths to capture every detail of anime character\u2019s costume, including the rivets and metal mesh where his arms enter the bracers, the orange X across his chest, as well as his grenade belt. NerdChop even added burn marks to the metal collar around his neck. Not only do they nail the hero\u2019s outfit, they also embody the ill-tempered character as they strike the pose the character makes when he\u2019s about to attack, and captures his intensity by mirroring his signature snarl. According to NerdChop\u2019s Instagram, the cosplayer and prop maker has been has been creating costumes and dressing up as anime characters for years, with their earliest post being from 2015.
